This notice covers both Cherry Stone websites: industrial supply and mining services. Cherry Stone Holdings (Pty) Ltd, 968 Vuka Section, Moruleng, Saulspoort, 0318, South Africa, is responsible for the personal information collected through them, and processes it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Industrial supply quotation drafts

Your quotation draft, including the contact details you enter, is saved in this browser to help you finish later. Use “Clear draft” in the quotation builder to remove it. Avoid saving personal details on a shared device.

WhatsApp requests

The industrial supply quotation builder opens a prepared message in WhatsApp. Review it and send it yourself. WhatsApp processes messages under its own privacy terms. These drafts are not stored in a server database.

Mining quote requests and contact messages

When you submit a quote request or a message on the mining services site, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, the details of your requirement and any file you attach. We use this only to respond to you, prepare a quote and manage the resulting work.

Requests and attachments are stored in a secured database hosted by Supabase and are accessible only to authorised Cherry Stone staff. Email notifications, including a confirmation to you, are sent through Resend. We keep this information only as long as needed for these purposes and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell it or use it for marketing.

Cherry Stone assistant

When the assistant is configured, your question and recent chat messages are sent to Google Gemini to generate a response. Do not include confidential, financial or sensitive personal information. Chat history is held in the page session and can be cleared in the chat panel.

Essential operations

The sites use no advertising or analytics trackers. Your light or dark theme choice is remembered in your browser. Staff who sign in to the operations dashboard receive a session cookie. Hosting providers may process basic operational logs, and request identifiers may be used briefly to limit abuse.

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how it is used. Contact us at cherrystoneholdings@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
